Lambda Chi Alpha is one of the largest men’s fraternities in North America providing brotherhood on college campuses with nearly 11,000 undergraduates and more than 290,000 alumni across the globe. Our Chapter at Cal Poly was colonized in 1978, chartered in 1979, and is one of the youngest yet most decorated Chapter’s in Lambda Chi Alpha history. We have graduated more than 1000 alumni leaders with distinguished careers in Engineering, architecture, business, science & mathematics, agriculture and liberal arts.

To inspire and equip men to lead an ethical life of growth, service, and leadership.

Lambda Chi Alpha’s vision is to lead a co-curricular Greek movement, predicated on partnership and collaboration among the undergraduates, host institutions, alumni and General Fraternity, and to offer an experience that focuses on the maturational development of today’s college man. As such, it is the vision of Lambda Chi Alpha to extend itself beyond the traditional social fraternity in practice and principle.
